flowmeh Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Okay so I have an old MC world that I was starting to get a bit bored on and I wanted to spice things up a little bit by installing tekkit. I know that all the news ores, trees and other goodies don't spwan on already loaded chunks, I was just wondering if there is anyway for me to get a part of my old world on to a new world so I can enjoy all the tekkit perks with my beautiful houses and bridges etc? -I'm sure this has already been answered a thousand times, sorry for that-
LazDude2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 What you could do is just load up your old world, and explore new chunks. You don't even have to go that far(usually) to find new chunks. Or, if you're man enough (or woman, don't mean to be non-PC), use MCEdit to copy your base and paste it.
flowmeh Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 Doesn't MCEdit use SPC? Tekkit doesn't have SPC by default, and I'm unsure if you can add extra mods to Tekkit. edit: I tried installing SPC but it didn't work :s
milcondoin Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 MCEdit is an external program, not a mod for minecraft, it doesn't rely on any mods whatsoever. Maybe you think of WorldEdit?
