sfxworks
Looking for a generator that works with tekkit that makes the biome size larger than it is? (Rather than using the new LARGE BIOMES option in 1.3). I tried using TerrainControl but that doesn't work. And I would like to put in bo2s too. stringburka
I think you should be able to squeeze Wedge into tekkit, but otherwise I know of nothing of the sort. Wedge can make... interesting terrain, but I don't know if it affects biome size.

Xylord
So..............any ideas? Wedge is the only customizable generator I know of, but if he doesn't have an option for biome sizes, I have no ideas, sorry.

stringburka
Well, you could enter a world in 1.3 in creative mode, fly around for a while, and then export it. That's the only way I know.

Are you sure a 1.3 world would be perfectly compatible with MC 1.2.5? That's two major version. Plus, he wouldn't have IC2 ores, thaumcraft crystals or oil in this world. Aeschylis
Does anyone know of a way to get Minecraft Land Generator to work with Tekkit? While it doesn't affect the biome size, you could find an area you like after generating a decent area and rendering the map in an external program like Cartograph or Minetographer. sfxworks
I guess a better term for words would be terrain modifier. Not something like Minecraft Land Generator.
sfxworks
Anyone? Anyone know if someone can get TerrainControl working for this since tekkit is suppose to work with bukkit?
Toastyc12
WorldPainter is a great tool, can make new terrain or edit existing worlds. (Through importing). You can flag the world to populate when you're exporting, so Minecraft will go through and add resources on first play-through. I haven't tried this with Tekkit yet, but it sounds pretty promising from my past experience with it. http://www.worldpainter.net/ Adding a thought: You can paint your biome layers any size you want, so you could use this for larger Biomes. sfxworks
There's that, but see this and this. Plus, how would I go about adding the ores? The only way I can think of is running MLG on Tekkit but that leaves out emerald since there is no 1.3 out for it yet.

sfxworks
Can I get your config file for your biomes? All I need really. And I want a HUGE biome size. Like with the old generation, a biome size of 20 was perfect
