Hello fellow minecraft/tekkit players. I have a hopefully quick and simple question I can't seem to figure out. I just updated my tekkit to 3.1.2, and I think its wonderful so far. Except for one thing, all of my glass is connected together. There is no separation of the glass on each block of glass. Its cool and all for a few things, but it has made my glass decorations in my server look dumb. I am wondering if there is anyway I can disable a certain mod to fix this issue? I am asking this because in my Tekkit 3.0.4 server I did not have this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I didn't mean to sign my post..

Yeah, you can disable this feature of Optifine by going in in the video options and fiddling with the settings. But I don't think there's a way to have all the players that connect disable this option automatically.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. I will try fiddling with the settings, luckily I only have 3-6 friends playing on the server so I could most likely tell them how to do it, or fix it. Truth of the matter is I may just have to live with it, maybe re-design my stuff a little. Thanks again.

So after doing a lot of messing around. The problem still stands, is there a way I can go into the Optifine .zip file and edit that directly. I was looking for that in the Tekkit/mods folder but it was not there, even though in the tekkit launcher the Optifine mod says it is loaded.

Optifine is installed in the modpack.jar file. In order to remove it you'll have to remove each piece of it from that without accidentally removing another modpack.jar mod's file.

No need for file editing here.

Just go in video settings, quality, connected textures and set it to off.

Well I feel like a complete dumb ass. Thank you, this solved my problem. When i was going through the settings myself I completely missed this. Big thanks again.

It's alright, there's a ridiculous amount of options in Optifine's video settings. :D
