How to add forestry to tekkit?

Can someone please explain me how to add forestry to tekkit 3.1.2? Please only explain it if you really know how to do it, don't say "Just add it to your mods folder". I also want to put it on my server.

Yep, but I don't know which version of forestry I need etc. and he said he had problem with installing it. Do I need "Forestry" or "Forestry (for BC3)" ? And is this ( http://mcportcentral.co.za/wiki/index.php?title=Ports_for_1.2.5 ) the right place to get it?

Tekkit uses buildcraft 2 as there isn't a buildcraft 3 release for servers, just use the latest forestry version which is for minecraft 1.2.5

Sorry to OT, but that statement is false, im right now playing with BC3 on a SMP server for bukkit

it's not released by the official buildcraft team however, it's released by someone who ported it with permission.

Buildcraft dont release for Bukkit, so, in your words, it will never go SMP

Edit: My bad, they do. But whats the different about allowed porters and BC themselfe?

Buildcraft themselves are so called 'offical' releases where they won't be as many bugs.

Where as the porters are using the source code to make a bukkit port and tend not to know the ins and outs of the code so typically more bugs.
