Lag Spike when looking at my house.

Whenever I'm on the outside of my house looking at it my fps drops from 55 to 4. I'm not sure why this happens and am completely stuck. Does anyone know what the cause of this is?

Are there flashing lights around your house? Lighting updates can cause massive lag.

I think I have found the problem, 4 quarries running behind my house. All having to update water blocks etc. But I'm not sure. Will log in now to get screenshots

Yeah, MC renders in the direction you're looking first, so if there's a lot of activity in that direction, your FPS will drop.

I was under the impression that the server would carry that kind of load leaving the players just to have smooth fps unlike built up worlds on technic :/

Are those quarries pumping anywhere or are they directly storing their crap in chests cuz they could be overflowing. Items on the ground will lag like nobodies buisness. Check all your piping (I know itll suck lagging but hey in the wilderness i get like 20fps MAX) and make sure there isn't a pile of square trolls lying on the floor.

They are all pumping into teleport pipes which leads to my chest room, no entities except for whats in the pipes.
