The GTX 675M is a 2gb DDR5 graphics card that should be more than enough to run tekkit.... I thought you said you had no graphics card?

can you do this for me

1: click the start button

2: right click on my computer

3: select properties

4: select device manager

5: expand display adapters

let me know what it says you have for a display adapter.

:) can you also click start and in the bit at the bottom that says "search programs and files" type "dxdiag" then hit enter.

try running the dxdiag test.

[edit]

it will be on the display tab.

just means that your directx is working. lol and just trying to find an error somewhere.

How much ram have you allocated to tekkit? you can change it in options to the right of where you sign in.

[edit]

It should choose the better by default.

i have it set to the default then i tried turning it up and it still isn't working right like so the fps sucks yes and i'm playing the game it works for a bit but isn't running smoothly at all like when u play normal minecraft then after a while of playing it goes and says that it has run out of memory and to even get the game working agian i have to restart tekkit all the way

Edit: i have done that multiple times and sometimes i've had to clear all technic files and redownload it to get it to play cuz for some reason after a crash it would go to normal minecraft and not tekkit

Well.. You have enough ram and certainly have enough processing/graphical power. you obviously have java installed and the correct drivers for your card installed. Other than allocating more ram to tekkit nVSV0.jpg

I am unsure how to help further.

ok mine doesn't do that though it only goes up to like 15** MB why does yours go higher

Edit: ??? ok it didn't do that before but now it is huh what should i set it at then??

Edit 2:i set it at 4GB and i went ingame solo play so my fram rate can make it up to 26 but can also drop to like 16 so it is better yes

on the ingame settings i see so much stuff are there certain things that i should turn off i'm not sure what i should make them

I think I may have the solution.

Quoting a post by th3ant

"I just found that my tekkit (even though I set it to previously and it is still set to) does not start with my graphics card. I'm not sure if your on a device that has switch-able graphics, but this could be a possibility.

PS. I am on a laptop that switches between a Intel HD3000 to a NVIDIA GT525m. I noticed even though it was set to use the nVidia chip, it didn't. I fixed this by right clicking and selecting "Run with Graphics Processor" -> "High Performance (NVIDIA)""

well then that might just work lets try that

k so i'm not finding a thing to switch it by right clicking on the launcher but i might know why or maby cuz when i have been trying to download the luancher previously i have had a hard time cuz it kept getting blocked and not allowed to run because it was not a known file or whatever i've managed to slip it through but i don't think that it is the complete right thing

i don't have one at the moment new comp and all and i've turned firewall all the way off but i think i could just turn the sucky graphics card off and then turn comp back on do u think that will do the job??

Right click at desktop, select nvidia control panel,Then select manage 3D setting, change option from integrated card to nvidia card from global setting so that most programs run on nvidia.

or

You should look for the Nvidia settings program (supplied by Nvidia) and within there you can specify which programs to use the Nvidia card.
