Title: Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: Bad compressed data format

Version: 3.1.2

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Java Version: Java 7 Update 5 (64-bit)

Description of Problem:

Every couple of minutes it says Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: Bad compressed data format and cuts me off. In the server log it says 17:05:35 [iNFO] samken600 lost connection: disconnect.endOfStream

What is wrong?!?!

The server is my server so I have access to the configs and stuff.

Error Messages:

There's two possible causes.

Apparently, you have the correct bit version of Java, so that's rules out.

The only other reason people experience this, is because they are infected with malware.

If the problem persists, or if no malware exists client side, go and badger your hosting company about it, and pray that you chose one with good customer support.

I never fixed it. It was still saying the error to some of my friends. It just changed for me. But only once. After that it came back. So I never really fixed it

it might be a client sided error so i would like to ask if anyone else on the server is experiencing the same thing ?

use

Java JDK (Java Developer Kit) 7 Update 6

This might fix it, i use this but on a Window 7 Home Premium

1) Yes others are.

2) I will try it
