Description of Problem:

Luminators display correctly on walls and ceilings for normal blocks, but when attached to IC2 cables (including CF-covered cables), they always display as a floor luminator. I posted this on the IC2 forums and they say it works fine with IC2 alone so it must be a problem with tekkit.

Cover the wires in construction foam and then place the lamps.

Yeah, I can only assume at this point, that it's an intentional thing.

Just click on them with a battery, and they'll last for days.

No it's not an intentional thing. You can see Luminators on the ceiling attached to CF cables that are still behaving as floor luminators. They even emit light out of the top rather than the bottom.

Right, that must be to do with the 'IC2 machines facing the wrong way' bug, and a google search should solve all.
