What are these green pots!

Found a massive dungeon and near the bottom is a room with these pots, 3 of them have buttons.

What are they and what are they for. Couldn't see a similar item in the blocks catalog and cant break them to see what they ID as.

They're end portal blocks, put Eyes of Ender onto the blocks and that will make the "button" a full ring of blocks with "buttons" make a portal to The End.
