So I have been playing ssp with the tekkit modpack up until now I never really bothered to look on the forums or mess with the other packs. well I finally got around to making myself a tunnel bore and have come cross alittle problem. any ore that is not a basic ore EX. rubies, nickolite etc. causes the bore to stop dead. I know there is a way to add the ids of these items to the bores permited to drill list. but to do so I must change the config files which I have no clue how to find.

In simple how do I access config files. for ssp

C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\technicssp\config

That is where most of the configs are located. To open then right click and choose Open With... then pick Notepad

You may need to enable hidden files as visible to see %AppData, though.

I just go into the start menu, find the program called Run and type %appdata%. Also you can copy/paste the line I posted and simply replace "YOURNAMEHERE" with your username (for your computer)

Wait, are you playing tekkit in a singleplayer world, or are you playing technic?

Re-reading I think he is, so the correct file path would be...

C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkit\config

thank you guys for responding so fast. I got it working the way I wanted it to. Thanks for the help.

and to GreenWolf13 I am playing tekkit in singleplayer. Like I said before never looked into the differences between the two. Why do you ask?

He asked because in my response I mis-read and thought you said you were playing Technic, so the path I provided was wrong if you are using Tekkit. Afaik there is no difference between Tekkit SSP and Tekkit SMP, between TECHNIC SSP and TEKKIT there are quite a few differences.
