8bitbanana
I need some help setting up a Tekkit server. I am using Multicraft as my control panel. I have tried to look up tutorials, but all of them were not good at all. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
Nemmie
just rename the tekkit to bukkit and run it as bukkit from your control panel
Dodge34
Just drag everything from the tekkit server.zip file in both the root directory and the jar directory (except the world, world_Nether and World_End that aren't needed there), if you don't have access to the jar folder, you won't be able to run tekkit except if you follow the trick Nemmie posted, in that case I don't think you need access to the jar folder, but you will have to rename the tekkit.jar to bukkit.jar after deleting the bukkit.jar that is on your root directory. 8bitbanana
I dragged all the files into the FTP directory and then it started throwing off errors.
djdisturbed
on my server, the hosting company (kbg servers) uses Multicraft, I have to rename mine to craftbukkit.jar for it to work when I update it, I also have to make sure that craftbukkit is selected in the " JAR File" pulldown menu on the main server hosting screen
