Title: SensorNet Total Glitch

Version: 3.1.2

OS: Windows 7

Java Version: Java 7

Description of Problem:

I was messing about with my controls, having just updated to tekkit 3.1.2. I wanted to change all the controls that had default buttons that were the same (key name was red). I set the key binding from F9 to F10 and now any key I press brings up this: http://postimage.org/image/hmomycqn1/ (I play on Sphax) When I click on refresh nothing happens. when I click OK my mouse instantly goes back to the middle. If i press F10 again Trekkit stops responding. I closed it and reopened it, but now any button I press brings up this again. I tried everything, even re-downloading tekkit but nothing helps.

WTF?!

how can i fix this?

The Sensor Net keybinding is defined within the .techniclauncher/tekkit/options.txt

key_Open SensorNet: is the field you want to look at...for F9 it needs to be 67 (F10 would be 68, and so on) see what is in this field currently...if all else fails, just delete that file, and reload the game.

EDIT: i realize you said you deleted and redownloaded, but I am still curious what value is currently in this field.

Ummm Electrobrandino. I don't understand what you mean by "for F9 it needs to be 67 (f10 would be 68, and so on) see what is in this feild currently...if all else fails, just delete that file, and reload the game." I have the same problem as Jpaccer so please help.

Sure thing. You need to open up the file named Options.txt. go to the appdata folder (%appdata%) and it is located at \Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkit\options.txt.

When you open it, it will look similar to this

music:0.0

sound:0.0

invertYMouse:false

mouseSensitivity:0.5

fov:0.0

gamma:1.0

viewDistance:0

guiScale:0

particles:0

bobView:true

anaglyph3d:false

advancedOpengl:false

fpsLimit:0

difficulty:2

fancyGraphics:true

ao:true

clouds:true

skin:Sphax PureBDCraft 64x Tekkit 3.zip

lastServer:

lang:en_US

key_key.attack:-100

key_key.use:-99

key_key.forward:17

key_key.left:30

key_key.back:31

key_key.right:32

key_key.jump:57

key_key.sneak:42

key_key.drop:16

key_key.inventory:18

key_key.chat:20

key_key.playerlist:15

key_key.pickItem:-98

key_Zoom:29

key_ALT Key:56

key_Boost Key:29

key_Mode Switch Key:50

key_laserKeyBinding:67

key_Open SensorNet:67

key_Charge Item:47

key_Toggle Active:34

key_Extra Function:46

key_Release Charge:19

key_Sort inventory:19

key_key.matmos:65

key_Railcraft Anchor Aura:88

key_Show force-loaded chunks:67

Look for the line that says key_Open SensorNet: and make sure the number that follows that is 67. If it isn't, then change it. If that doesnt work, then backup this file, delete it, and restart the game.

Make sense?

EDIT: that file defines the keybindings for certain actions. the numbers correspond with different keys. In this case, you probably set the sensornet to the left click, so changing the value here to 67 resets that to the F9 key.
