ok i updated my java and made sure it was updated before i download. (i am using windows 7) everytime i open up the launcher all that happens is the loading thingy comes up then the logo, nothing else happens! please help!

Hm. Have you tried COMPLETELY deleting the launcher in its entirety? including the thing on your desktop? Have you tried reinstalling Java? Tried temporarily disabling your firewall?

Stop Raging, the technic pack download site is down, no mod packs can be downloaded and the launcher cannot be downloaded, don't worry, im not a technic representative or anything, but it will be up within a few hours to a day if its not major

The download site is not down.. Its been operating perfectly fine over the last day it has been up. There is likely a different issue at play here

nope. well i guess i have deleted everything andre installing it. ill try doing it again and see if it will work and maybe disabling my firewall.... will that maybe work?

It could. Without being able to replicate the problem, i can't do much to find a solution. Try nuking your install first though.
