I am trying to play Tekkit on my own server, every time I try to connect it tells me I don't have the following mods installed. I am using the Tekkit 2.1 server and made sure I was playing Tekkit.

Can you actually tell us what mods it says are not installed?

And just to be sure, you haven't modified ModLoader.cfg on your client, right?

Didn't even touch the modloader.cfg

Ah, I see what's wrong. Your server's running 2.1, but your client is running Tekkit Client 2.0. To switch to Client 2.1, open the Launcher, click Options, tick "Use latest build", and you should switch over to 2.1.
