Skins don't load for migrated accounts in launcher

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) Running on Mid 2011 iMac

Java Version: Java SE 6 1.6.0_33-b03-424

Antivirus Program: None. Macs are just that epic.

Description of Problem:

Title says it all, in the launcher (when you open it to login) skins don't load if you have migrated your account to a mojang account, therefore using your email address to login. This isn't a major issue and the only possible fix that I can think of is to make a mod that writes the player's username to a file when minecraft launches which the launcher then reads.

Are you talking about the skin at the start up screen? Those don't show your skin when migrated, but your skin will appear in game.
