Me and my friend, on our server, have setup a mass fabricator and a recycler - cobble, etc, from our quarry is pumped into the recycler, then the scrap into the fabricator - it works fine, but when it hits 5000, it stops working. We tried breaking a replacing it, still not working - any help?

Nope. It is unpowered because I am a noob at tekkit. Can you tell me how to make a cable please?

Ofcourse its fucking plugged in >.> - A sensible answer to your sensible question, our power is coming straight from our nuclear reactor.

As I said above in black and white, it was working fine until it hit 5000 Amplify - implying it was getting powered.

There's something wrong with your explanation. Let me explain precisely how a mass fab works.

The mass fab absorbs energy. He will absorb 1 million EU, and then produce one UU-matter. If you put one scrap in it, the lettrage 5000 Amplify will appear, and start decreasing until it touches 0; when it does that, it disappears, or destroys another scrap, to reset the number to 5000. As long as there is "Amplify" each EU counts as six, making the UU-matter cost 6 times less EU if the fab was fed scrap all along, about 166000 EU rather than 1 million.

So, it doesn't "hit" 5000, it starts at it, and decreases. Does it still not work if you don't use scrap at all?

Ok, thanks for the reply - we haven't tried that yet. When we got it working, we just fed scrap into it. When we get it working, we will try that.

And to elaborate on my "hits 5000" part, I meant to say it freezes on 5000, as in when we find it had stopped, it was on 5000 amplify.

Ok, I'll try that.

Thanks, its working now! Any suggestions on how to make it not consume all our power? Would we have to make another reactor?

At the moment, we have 1 reactor hooked up to a mfsu - thats powering a macerator, electric furnace, and condensor and extractor when needed. It is also connected to a energy link to power our quarry. Any ideas?
