Worried about world corruption...

I've got a Bukkit server going with buildcraft, IC2 and some of the other technicpack mods already installed, I'd like to start using technic instead because it sounds like you guys have gotten all the mods to play nice and have a client so I'd no longer have to try to maintain cfg files and all that sort of thing for my players anymore.

My concern is that if I switch to technic pack it will corrupt my world since there's all these various blocks already in it that correspond to the current configured block and item ID #s

Not sure if there's a safe way around this, hoping for some help if there is, thanks!

Technic is Singe Player. Tekkit is Multiplayer.

Try backing up your server and then installing Tekkit. If nothing goes wrong then you're set. It something happens then...well you know it won't work.

If you really wanted to switch you would need to find the ids of the blocks and items which are different in your server and Tekkit. Then convert your world using a tool like this.
