can't play mod pack

Hi.. spent 3 hours yesterday trying to Play mod packs Animal Adventure ( and also tried another one).. followed all instructions to download and install but when it came time to click Play a blank screen came up, nothing further happened then it reverted to the original screen. I had successfully installed a mod pack on earlier occasion which functions properly so i don't know what i'm missing this time. Am trying to do this for 9 year old granddaughter. Have tried this on two computers both mac 10.7 and 10.8 same result each time. Then added frustration with message service to Technic is showing Error so i haven't been able to contact them. pastebin a crashlog 

(Cog wheel in top right, then Open, then look in the Crash Reports folder and copy/paste the most recent one into Pastebin, and post the link. If there are no crash reports, then hit the cog wheel, and then Open Logs, and pastebin the most recent log from there)
