Computer Craft Question

This is my first time using computers, and I'd like to know if there is a way to either:

a) Make a mining turtle empty out its contents when full

or

Make a computer emit a redstone signal when the mining turtle is full.

If either of these questions are possible, could you please give me the code, because I've never used CC before. Thanks.

i can't give you exact code, but here's a good page to look at: http://thetekkit.wikia.com/wiki/Turtle_API

essentially: you want your code to have the turtle check all his slots, and if they're full, navigate back to base, and then drop them (i think if they're next to a chest they'll just put them in there, if not, use an obsidian pipe)
