Need some help with a quarry bug

Hello,

I'm running a server with some people and for some reason when we try to make a quarry, it goes as far as letting us put it down with the layout marks for where the beams will spawn. After that it does nothing. I've personally gone onto single player to make sure were putting everything together correctly and we are. Has anyone else had this issue with their server and would possibly know a solution to fixing this?

I am, as I said in my post, I've done it before on single player to make sure, and it's a public server so we've had numerous people say it doesn't work.

OP: You need to be more specific. Many plugins, as well as standard spawn protection, will block quarries from removing blocks in the frame or digging. Residence, Towny, Factions, etc. are all on this list.

If you have PEX, you need to give buildcraft build perms. Simplest way would be /op [buildCraft]
