This design basically assumes you are not extremely wealthy on resources or using EE heavily.

If you are using EE to get bonemeal, you might as well just skip the bone meal and use it to make resin.

Couldn't you just use an assembler with bonemeal and saplings in it, than use an RM axe in a deployed to break it, and use a transposer to collect drops?

Or just one turtle next to a transposer to suck up saplings. Can plant saplings, detect trees, cut down trees, and store logs.

But yes, a turtle will do that just fine- there's code for one on the CC wiki.

I don't like turtles , also at your comment on using a RM axe... I'm pretty sure if you HAVE a RM axe, you probably don't need rubber any more...

Tbh I mostly just find it fun to come up with simple and effective designs to do things that people don't want / have the patience to do. Similar to a Rube Goldburg design, except the opposite.
