Server lagging with for no apparent reason, eventually crashing

So over the last few days my server started lagging again, with no apparent reason. Even with just 2 people online, it was complaining about it being overloaded on console and had some chat lag.

Not only it lags, but it also crashes - something that didn't happen before this lag issue appeared.

Previously on my server we used to run 3.1.2, and the world we had had to be removed because it was absolutely unplayable due to lag and frequent crashes (usually within 10 minutes of it being started). Someone said it was a bug in 3.1.2, so we use 3.1.1 now, but the issue is appearing again.

I already disabled Dimensional Anchors, World Anchors and Teleport Tethers, but no luck, the issue remains.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I read somewhere that there's a block combination that makes intense lag, if they're next to each other, but I can't recall what it is.

Anything that could be causing this lag, please post. If I can't solve this issue I'll probably stop hosting this server. It's really lame, because recently we've been getting 20~ players and most end up bummed out by these issues.

How much ram do you give the server and also is there a world boarder that could be a good thing to put on if not it could also be blockbreakers if they use a cobble farm or somthing it could over flow from the chest then make tons of lag

You've got a strange errors with buildcraft.

First of all I would delete redpower addons mod. Then try to disable ComputerCraft.

A week ago I had a similar issue like you (with the lag).

The solution for me was to change the host. I've been on managed minecraft hosting, now I have dedicated server and there is no lag like before.

id disable the bukkit plugins that are spewing stack traces everywhere first and go from there. Essentials is a terribly written plugin that conflicts with almost anything. It also looks like your server cant access the internet, or if it can, is having issues resolving hostnames. Id fix that too...
