But is there a way I can launch a specific build (tekkit, technic) from a shortcut, without having to first load the launcher, then the client? I find it silly how you need to launch launcher, log in, and wait for it to load.. AFIK the vanilla minecraft does this or used to do that.. freakachu Posted September 24, 2012 Share Posted September 24, 2012 as far as I know, this isn't something the launcher can do. however, it is open source and on git hub, so you are welcome to add this functionality yourself. it may even get implemented into the main branch, who knows?
