My browsers are setted to Spanish and I proved the links in Chrome and Explorer in my computer and with Mozilla in an other (both windows 7). I have clicked in all the download links in your webside and they all have the same problem, I can't get to the mirror server (exactly to the link you posted). So rightklick the Link and select open in a new Tab , then interrupt the Loading (Wont work anyway) and remove the mirror. Worked perfectly for me. 0 LordMortus Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 It's more than just a bug... the mirror. links don't work and if you remove the "mirror." from the link you don't get the newest version. I've re-downloaded it a few times and even thought the main site displays a link for 5.4.6, the download is 5.4.4 The version doesn't bother me so much, I'm sure the updater function will kick in eventually, but the not connecting to minecraft.net issue is the current one I hope gets fixed soon. I've had to change it to http://technicpack.net/files/TechnicLauncher-0.2.exe to make it work. That's not working for the exe this time though. It says the file isn't found. Now I am going to pull the jar from your GitHub website to work around this problem. Nevertheless I wish to thank you guys and the mod authors for this awesome mod pack!! (but you need to delete lastlogin everytime you start it, due to no new exe files) 2. creators of technicpack.net get out with an official repport explaining to people what is happening and go get the mirror working. Your DNS entry has a TTL left of just under 4 hours. If people attempt to download directly from your server at the following link, it will probably work: http://206.217.207.1/files/TechnicLauncher.exe However, then they are faced with the problem that the launcher may try to pull files from the same DNS entry. They could fix that by changing their hosts file on their PC to point mirror.technicpack.net to 206.217.207.1, but I'm not going to assist anyone on doing that. If you're one of the users reading this and don't know how, google it and figure it out or wait the 4 hours and hope they fix their DNS record by then.
