I need help to figure something out

Hi guys,

when I log on to my technic world it tells me I am 5 updates behind, but in the launcher I am set to use the latest version recomented, so I should be using the lasted updated version right?

I have been looking and googling and sarching on youtube, and I can't find somewhere were you can update technic, if it is not just about picking the version in the option before loggin in.

please inlighten me, because I am stupid and lost :(

most likely it is a mod that is included in technic letting you know it is out of date, which is to be expected since technic and tekkit do not update as frequently as some of the mods they use. if it bothers you that much, you can manually update whichever mod is letting you know it's out dated.

No no, if it is only that. then its fine... I just wanted to play the latest version... and for the best of me, could not figure out, how to get the update

the launcher is really all you need. you should be all set.

I get this sometimes when I log in, it's just one of the mods the pack uses that isn't up to date yet, it has absolutely no effect an Technic and Tekkit both still work fine as it is.

Its Matmos and after it displays 3 or 5 times it will stop giving you that message.
