What happens if a mod that is in the technic/tekkit pack doesn't update?

Well I was wondering, what happens if a mod like lets say uh, I don't know, nether ores or power converters, the original developer doesn't update it? Do they have someone else update it, or do they just cut it from the modpack all together? I really don't want to see any mods go :(

Well, that depends. If it's a core mod, they'll wait for it to update. I do not know how much patience our awesome modpack guys have, but I'd say that they will wait for some mods but not for all of them (Readd mods when updated)

If the mod creator stops supporting the mod completely, they will look if someone else has updated that mod. Else, it gets removed, I think.
