Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Java Version: 7u7 64-bit

Antivirus Program: ESET Nod32 Antivirus 4

Description of Problem:

I checked all java options and reinstalled it over 10 times, disabled all of my firewalls including my router's, I wiped my .minecraft and downloaded the .jar launcher but all of these still leave me stuck on the logo. And yes, I have checked the common problems and solutions over and over and nothing in there can help me.

And please answer the question instead of threadjacking, make your own thread!

You don't want to delete your .minecraft folder, you need to delete your .techniclauncher folder. Is that what you meant?

Found this thread with a guy who had the same problem, he said it was his firewall not letting it go through. Try disabling the firewall completely and try running the launcher again.

A few weeks back I noticed people were having issues with a program called RelevantKnowledge. A virus actually. Check to make sure it's not in your Programs list.

Also, to get the launcher to this point I had to get the jarfile from the website and put it in .techniclauncher or else I wouldn't get past the Unable to connect to remote server bug in case that can be of any use.

Would installing it on another computer (Which is a 64-bit as well), taking the .techniclauncher folder and putting it in my computer work? Because I can't think of another solution and I really want to play tekkit :/

Only if it works on the other computer I guess. But make sure you remove all pertaining files from the one you're moving it to first.

i'm running on 32-bit and having same problem. The launcher said could not connect to minecraft.net before even logging in.

Then i deleted and reinstalled technic and now i'm having this problem

There are known problems with 32-bit set ups, so your probably isn't the same problem. Please post your own bug report.

Hasn't worked unfortunately :/ I think i'm going to try deleting every trace of java in my computer, copy java (including paths and whatnot) from the other computer (It was working on that one) and put that in mine. Since I cannot see any other solution and that I really want to play tekkit
