Omicron Posted October 25, 2012 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Have you built (or discovered) something in the Nether that might kill FPS, such as anything that involves a lot of flowing Lava? Does it happen only with one portal, or with all portals (even ones very far apart) in one map, or with any portal on any map? Have you tried assigning more memory in the launcher options? Do you have a 64bit Windows version? If so, do you have 32bit or 64bit Java installed, or both? If both, is the 64bit one configured to be used?
