Launcher Version: 1.0.2.0

Operating System: 64 bit windows, 8gb of ram, 7.50gb memory, dual core intel i3 processor

Java Version: 7

Antivirus Program: norton 360

Description of Problem:

When ever i try to start up tekkit/technic it tries to update it and it says 'update failed' after its don eit a few times

Error Messages:

'update failed'

Error Log:

Turn off Norton and redownload. Also use the edit button instead of multi-posting please.

Well then why would mine work perfectly fine? Along with the majority of users around here. I can guarantee you that if it works for me and many others, it is your computer.

He's assuming that that many people can't possibly be that stupid. It's easier to assume it was one person being stupid instead of dozens of people being stupid.
