Description of Problem:

will load and open to the bar that says "Technic Launcher" and freeze there from a fresh launcher also tried using the jar.

What about a complete reinstall of Java?

Not even kidding I did a complete reinstall of windows 8 thinking it was the upgrade messed up because it worked before. updated all my drivers including my graphics card which I read was caused some problems the i reinstalled java. To put simple it is like being on a brand new pc.

Plus, TIKFAM (The Interface Formerly Known As Metro) is utter garbage when used on anything but a touch screen.

Yes i got it working. combing every resource i have basicly for anyone else with the same problem all i did was downgrade my java from version 7 update 9 to java version 6 update 37 thank you for the attempt though.
