Hi guys,

Anyone have any idea what would be the cause of lag in this? Server is latest Tekkit Legends with KCauldron running on 8GB RAM with 30~ players. View distance is 3.

The server isn't out of memory (<80%) and there's also parameters for GC in startup. CPU usage is under 20% andĀ  it's running on SSDs (hardware is not the problem). I'm pretty clueless on it.

  1. How much physical RAM does the server machine have?
  2. How much RAM are you allocating to the server process?
  3. Is there anything else running on the server?
  4. What is the exact line used in the launch script to start the server?

Pretty sure it has to do with tile entities. The server has 8GB allocated to it, it's a 32GB system, Like I said it's not an issue with load on the system, CPU/IO/BW is all under 20% utilization, memory isn't maxed out. It's the base java startupĀ  with the three GC parameters.(-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50).
