Really bad lag In Industrial Box mod pack.

I just go the IndustrialBox modpack, which has over 400 mods in it. Now when I go/ create any world, a lag spike hits every 3-9 seconds. Removing 40% of the mods stops the lag spike in biomes that are lightly dense. Any help to stop this?

the lag only happens when there is a lot of blocks around

What are your computer's specs? 

400 mods is HUGE. Must take ages to load. Even with all 40% mods removed, it's still a large pack. 

Are you using texture packs? What are your in-game video settings?

Specs: MSI GE72 Apache i7-4720HQ NVIDIA Geforce GTX 960M 2GB 17.3

Most of my in game setting's are really low, and still the lag spikes. But the lag spikes only happens when I'm near mountains, hills, forest, etc.

try installing Opis, it should be able to tell you exactly what is going on.

When I put OPis in my mod directory, the game crashes when It loads. I did get the correct version

You likely forgot to add Mobiuscore.
