Hey, I wonder if there's any mod/plugin around that adds the other wood (Spruce,Jungle and Birch) colors to stairs and slabs for 1.2.5, wanna use it for my private server.

They are I guess, they just don't show up in NEI. I'll check it.

NOTE: I'm running RP2 PR5b2 so just you know.

Press U (or whatever Tekkit has) to look for uses for the different kinds of wood and look for microblocks. They DO come up with the right colors.

I figured out by myself the slabs, but what about the stairs?

I don't know, I just never noticed it before. I should probably test it.

You use a slab (Redpower slab! Not a vanilla slab) and a slab strip to make the stairs. Or just use six slab corners and place them so that it looks like stairs.
