Downgrading a crystal chest

Crystals chests are causing some lag on my server. Is there any way to downgrade them other than breaking them?

If you have EE enabled they should be transmutable, so you could stick a diamond chest in a condenser slot and throw all your crystal chests into that.

But I would still have to break the chest. I want to turn them back into diamond with the stuff still in them.

No. Just break them and start it over.

Well that sucks. I have a lot of stuff in them... While I have a brand new topic still rather than making a new one, any way to fix the end of stream error most my players get randomly?

place a transposer under the chest, break the chest, and pipe the items into the new chest.
