When I try to log in to Technic, it won't actually fully open

Description of Problem:

I select the Technic option. It looks for updates, then just opens a new tab and does nothing.

or at the very least, post some logs since the OP didn't feel like it was worth doing. chances are though that you don't have the exact same problem

No, I've already stated, I have no active anti-virus programs. There were no error logs, just what I posted in the first post.
