Solar Panels don't output electricity

Title: Solar Panels don't output electricity

Version: 3.1.2

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Java Version: Java 7 Update 4

Description of Problem:

My solar panels show they are getting sunlight, but don't actually generate electricity. Testing both on wires connected to the panel AND the panels themselves yield no electricity.

Error Messages:

No error messages

Error Log:


No error log.

are you directing them to a power storage device? if you are then you might have the wires going in the right way. Or maybe the solar panels energy is getting eaten up by a machine too fast.

The solar panels will also only put out electricity if you have something for the machine to do. Also, solar panels give very little eu, so if it is working, it might not be noticeable with a quick glance.

The usual suspects would be:

You're using wire with too much loss for the distance you're trying to go.

You're using an EU meter to measure but there isn't anywhere for the power to go, or you're clicking on the panel itself.

Perhaps a picture of the setup, or at least a description to rule out some of the basics
