Moderators AetherPirate Posted March 14, 2016 Moderators Posted March 14, 2016 Try this: 1) Install the Barebones Pack from the technic launcher:  http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/barebonespack.271497. Launch it once. This is an empty pack, with just Forge. 2) Go to c:\users\*your username*\appdata\roaming\technic\modpacks\barebones pack\mods  3) Dump all your mods into the mods folder. The bin folder will already have the latest 1.7.10 forge universal, renamed to modpack.jar 4) Try launching your pack. When is crashes, pastebin the log from c:\users\*your username*\appdata\roaming\technic\modpacks\barebones\logs 5) If your pack is already zipped and available from the technic launcher, post the link. Refer to this as well: https://technicpack.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204199345-How-to-make-a-Minecraft-modpack  Not sure what you mean by "compile". Do you mean launch it? Or zip it and upload it to dropbox?     Quote

But here is my crash http://pastebin.com/wpaxh2uK Quote

How do you fix the ID conflict Quote
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted March 17, 2016 Discord Moderator Posted March 17, 2016 This is why mods have config files. Check the AM2 configs. You should be able to use this post to see how to make that change to a proper value. That post is about block/item ID conflicts, but the same process applies to Enchantment IDs. Quote

Moderators AetherPirate Posted March 20, 2016 Moderators Posted March 20, 2016 (edited) Did you fix the id conflicts that Plowman pointed out? Few things 1) A lot of your mods have (1) or (2) at the end of filename, remove that. 2) You have Advanced Genetics 1.7.10 and 1.7.2 in there. Get rid of 1.7.2 3) You have both Optifine and Fastcraft. Pick one, not both.  You have some more ID's to chase down: [09:43:58] [Client thread/ERROR] [FML/]: Caught exception from gibby_pun java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Attempted to register a enti ty with invalid ID: 375 Name: EntityMinion Class: class com.gibby.pun.EntityMinion   at net  Edited March 20, 2016 by AetherPirate Quote

But I have a new crash here (http://pastebin.com/w3rpdx9F) Quote
Moderators AetherPirate Posted March 21, 2016 Moderators Posted March 21, 2016 There error I pasted shows you what mod is having an ID conflict. See if punmod has a config file, and change ID 375 to something else. Quote

I have the mods I want, what do I do now? Quote
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted March 28, 2016 Discord Moderator Posted March 28, 2016 I will put my two cents in the hat along with AetherPirate's excellent work so far: Assemble your pack in a development environment: I would recommend my BareBonesPack using these instructions The linked post instructs the pack builder to add mods singly or in logical groups. Yes, this means that it will have to be launched MANY times as you build your pack and tweak the config files. There's a reason the BBP has 9K+ launches. Quote
shadowolf365 Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 Why does my modpack take a heck of a long time to boot up? it takes like 30-40 minutes to boot. Quote
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 4, 2016 Discord Moderator Posted April 4, 2016 <shakes magic 8-ball> ... because racecar On a more serious note, always provide the API URL or a link to the pack's platform page when requesting custom modpack assistance. Quote
