Technic not launching, window titled 'Hello' appears

Description of Problem:

Whenever I try to open the latest build of Technic, before the Mojang logo even shows up, I get a completely blank window, titled "Hello". It has the Java icon beside the title.

The launcher stays open, the Minecraft window comes into view, but stays white.

I have to kill java.exe to close the Technic Launcher.

Not sure what caused the problem, but "Hello World" is the FML loading screen.

Not sure what FML is, but it's a window titled "Hello". There's no content in the window. It goes away quickly, but it seems the launcher has trouble starting Minecraft properly. Maybe a rogue mod or an incorrect patch. Probably an incorrect patch, since this particular version of Technic worked before 1.4.4 came out.

FML is Forge Mod Loader. Have you tried redownloading?

Yes, I have. It didn't work.

I solved the problem by downloading the Technic Launcher executable instead of the .jar. The "hello" window still appears, but Minecraft actually loads now.

Like I said, "Hello" isn't a bug or error report, it's the ModLoader initializing.

Ah, I thought you meant that "Hello World" was literally FML's screen, but mine only shows "Hello".

At least it works now. A bit slowly, but it works.
