cannot allocate more than 1.5G

I installed a modpack that required 2G of Ram, and only saw i can go up to 1.5. i still have 20G of ram I am not using and running 64bit java. I tried putting in Java Args in the box, but still all I can go up to still is 1.5G for some reason.

You must, if you want to allocate more ram.

You forgot to quote a bit there, Aether. He said " i still have 20G of ram I am not using" AND running 64bit java.
