Hi there i am somewhat interested in the technic source. you see i am wanting to add my own mod pack, and to rename it. i do not want to make it cracked, simply to make it my own and i just need a little help. :)

You should get on the IRC channel. Plenty of people that can help you there.

Also, if you create code to look at a local source or alternative web source, you should post it.

It should be noted there is another launcher in the works and that functionality might be included in that. I'm not the person to ask, though.

there's a github for the launcher, though I don't have the link offhand. that will get you all the source you could ever want as far as the launcher goes.

I have that, but i cannot for the life of me find the part that i add my own lol

Find where main creates the post init gui, pick out the dropdown box, and trace it back. From there figure out how the other packages are laid out and add your own.
