question on naming the zip file

Making a modpack for my kids and i.  i have done this several times before but for what ever reason i am not sure why my mods file, bin file and config file do not load in correctly.  the zip file called "modpack" is added with all of the files inside it. looking like this

bin

cache

config

coremods

modpack

mods

resources

saves

Issue here is that you zipped the folder those files are in, while you should select the files and add those in a zip. Might sound a bit confusing, but the Launcher does not accept "subfolders".
