frusterbator Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 So I am trying to install Mo Creatures on a 3.1.2 server... Here is what I've done: -Updated Technic Launcher to 3.1.2 -Added "CustomMobSpawner1.9.2" and "DrZhark's MoCreatures Modv3.7.1" WinRAR zips to the mod folder in the .techniclauncher tekkit folder (v3.7.1 is listed for MC1.2.5 on the MoCreatures page) -Copy+pasted the contents of the "GuiAPI-0.15.1-1.4.5.zip" into the modpack jar file in the tekkit bin folder -Added "MoC_3.6.2_bukkit.zip" to the mod folder in my Tekkit 3.1.2 server folder Current problem: When I open the technic/tekkit launcher and click login, I starts normally to where it says "Mojang" but then it goes grey and doesn't do anything.... http://pastebin.com/tRrCY9tc Much assistance needed =/ Quote
ErusPrime Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 never put anything in minecraft.jar. it goes in the modpack.jar Quote

theprolo Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 There's no spoilers here. Try code instead. Quote
Djinnii Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Do you even need to do that? Can you not just put the zip in the mods folder? Quote
frusterbator Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 This is what I get if I just add the MoCreatures and Custom Mob Spawner to the mods folder, and skip the adding GuiAPI stuff into the modpack jar.... http://pastebin.com/G7HzDtiS Quote

Only put mods that will not work with the mods folder (Forge, mod specific API's, Optifine) in the modpack.jar When adding a mod. Read the fucking manual. Where does it tell you to stick it? Quote

I said I tried it again with just putting those to in the MODS FOLDER as in I didn't do anything to the modpack.jar or the GuiAPI that time...? I skipped adding the GuiAPI to the modpack.jar, even though it is a mod specific API... But if uou do have a fucking manual on how to install this mod and run it on a tekkit server please share! frusterbator Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 Thank you for the link! I already knew how to get to the webpage, that is where I got the mod downloads afterall ;D However this DOES tell me to alter the minecraft.jar... I have tried this, and altering the modpack.jar, and then a third time without doing anything to the minecraft/modpack jars (skipping everything in step 2). None of them have worked yet. Still could use some help, please! Quote
ErusPrime Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 TEKKIT IS BUKKIT. YOU HAVE TO USE THE BUKKIT VERSION OF MOCREATURES. I AM SPEAKING IN ALL CAPS SO THE DIFFERENCE IN LETTER SIZE DOES NOT CONFUSE YOU. THAT IS THE FUCKING MANUAL. READ IT. do you wake up in the morning and try to be this dense or does it just come naturally? Quote
frusterbator Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 Do you wake up in the morning and walk around with that dick up your ass all day, or do you just put it there when you sit down at the keyboard? But hey thanks for the help, I'll be sure to give that a try when I get home =) Quote
