Am i wrong in saying that tekkit needs some sort of story to it? Something like the quests in millionaire or something like that. It gives them something to do when they just cant think of anything.

I would say you are wrong yes. If you wanted story line, play an adventure map. The absolute freedom of Minecraft makes it difficult to create a story due to the lack of restrictions placed on the player.
