Bug at opening Launcher

Operating System: Windows Vista 32bit

Java Version: Java 7

Antivirus Program: McAfee Total Protection

Description of Problem:

When I open the launcher, a loading window that says "Checking launcher version" appears, but it just stays there and an error message comes up that says "Unable to download launcher. Please check your internet connection by opening www.techniclauncher.net in your webbrowser."

Error Messages:

"Unable to download launcher. Please check your internet connection by opening www.techniclauncher.net in your webbrowser."

Try disabling your antivirus and retrying(The antivirus can be re-enabled afterwards, they just sometimes block the download.

It has worked already for a long time so that is not the problem I think.

That is a mute point, try it with your AV off.

I found it already you just have to remove the technic-launcher.jar(normally in your roaming map) and then just start it again, worked for me.
