Djinnii Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Just setting up my new server with Multicraft... Only trouble is no matter what I do for the configuration file I always get: 19.12 08:15:45 [Multicraft] Server stopped 19.12 08:15:45 [Multicraft] Failed to adapt server configuration 19.12 08:15:45 [Multicraft] Loaded config for "Mod: Craftbukkit" 19.12 08:15:45 [Multicraft] Starting server! 19.12 08:15:45 [Multicraft] Loading server properties 19.12 08:15:45 [Multicraft] Received start command 19.12 07:59:03 [Multicraft] Loading server properties 19.12 07:59:03 [Multicraft] Loading server properties Does anyone have any experience with using Tekkit and/or Feed the Beast with Multicraft and could possibly provide me with a working configuration? ampayne2 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 If you have multicraft setup like my host, just put the tekkit server files in root, and rename tekkit.jar to minecraft_server.jar. Then go back to the server "overview" page and set it to default (not bukkit) Leave the custom jar field blank, hit save, and it should work. Same process with FTB and most other modified servers :) Quote
Djinnii Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 hmmm... nice try, I've already tried lots of similar things but I still get: 19.12 08:50:51 [Multicraft] Server stopped 19.12 08:50:51 [Multicraft] Failed to adapt server configuration 19.12 08:50:51 [Multicraft] Loaded config for "Default Minecraft Server" 19.12 08:50:51 [Multicraft] Starting server! 19.12 08:50:51 [Multicraft] Loading server properties 19.12 08:50:44 [Multicraft] Loading server properties Quote
ampayne2 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I can't help you then, I have never setup multicraft, only a tekkit server in multicraft. I guess.. make sure you setup multicraft right? *totally helpful reply* Quote
Djinnii Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 Actually it was ;-) made me double check file permissions. So thanks, that's 1 issue sorted.... Only trouble is... now my error is: [Multicraft] Failed to calculate resource usage Lol... guess Multicraft really doesn't like me... UPDATE: Solved... seems MultiCraft requires a minimum RAM allocation. I am slightly lost with this though: 19.12 10:08:11 [server] WARNING Perhaps a server is already running on that port? 19.12 10:08:11 [server] WARNING The exception was: java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address 19.12 10:08:11 [server] WARNING **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT! 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Starting Minecraft server on 192.198.80.179:25566 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Loading properties 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO NetherOres: loaded Macerator Recipes 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Initializing alchemy values for Equivalent Exchange.. 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO CONFLICT @ -48 item slot already occupied by dan200.computer.shared.ItemPeripheral@49336bd while adding net.minecraft.server.ItemBlock@5ceeb4a3 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO ComputerCraft: RedPowerLib and methods located. 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO ComputerCraft: Searching for RedPowerLib... 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO CONFLICT @ -49 item slot already occupied by dan200.computer.shared.ItemComputer@616ef019 while adding net.minecraft.server.ItemBlock@3a552b48 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO ComputerCraft: diskItemID 4000 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO ComputerCraft: diskDriveBlockID 208 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO ComputerCraft: computerBlockID 207 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Loading ComputerCraft: To change block IDs, modify config/mod_ComputerCraft.cfg 19.12 10:08:11 [server] WARNING Configuration for mod_ComputerCraft.enableAPI_http found value 0 outside acceptable range 4.9E-324,1.7976931348623157E308 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Properties file read succesfully! 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO MinecraftForge v3.3.8.152 Initialized 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO MinecraftForge v3.3.8.152 Initialized 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Forge Mod Loader has loaded 35 mods 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Directory weaponmod contained no mods 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Loading mods from /mods 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Forge Mod Loader version 2.2.91.1 for Minecraft 1.2.5 loading 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Completed early MinecraftForge initialization 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Attempting early MinecraftForge initialization 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO Starting minecraft server version 1.2.5 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO 27 achievements 19.12 10:08:11 [server] INFO 182 recipes 19.12 10:08:10 [Multicraft] Loaded config for "Mod: Craftbukkit" 19.12 10:08:10 [Multicraft] Starting server! 19.12 10:08:10 [Multicraft] Loading server properties Why is it finally checking to see if the port is available half way through the mod load? (not to mention, the port is open and not in use by any other program or server) Update: It really helps when binding IP's to use the right one :-) Quote
Djinnii Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 Okay, Again lol... I could use some help with this... I am getting a lot of "[Multicraft] Failed to calculate resource usage" even when I have set the min and max memory for each server. Quote
ErusPrime Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 This error is multicraft specific. you should contact their support for help. Quote
