Tekkit NEI not in mods folder (MAC)

I go to my Tekkit folder > Mods, and look for the NEI file. It is not there, the NEI plugins are there. I would like to update NEI to the newest one.

If you know, tell me if you can update NEI in Tekkit.

Also any fixes for the IC2 bug in Tekkit 3.1.3

Use Tekkit 3.1.2. But if you really want to use 3.1.3...

I think NEI is a .jar mod, so install a newer version of NEI into modpack.jar.

would you know what versions of nei are compatible with tekkit?

Why update NEI to the newest one? And Tekkit is Minecraft 1.2.5, so there's your answer.
