"java.lang.RuntimeException: This forge is for pre-1.7 use only! The Forge version must be <= 953.
Get a compatible forge from http://files.minecraftforge.net/minecraftforge/index_legacy.html
You can force loading to continue by passing -Dfactorization.ignoreForgeVersion=true to the JVM."

And you allocating 12 GB RAM to the game isn't going to make the performance any better. 4 GB is enough for 1.6.4 modpacks of any size, providing you aren't running a 512x texturepack.

So I downloaded this, https://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.6.4.html and extracted it and tried placing it in the bin of the mod as well as the folder for the mod I have no clue what I am doing. I could not use your link as I get a 500 internal server error. I don't know how to pass -Dfactorization.ignoreForgeVersion=true to the JVM." I  don't know where it goes. I have brought the ram down to 4GB as you suggested sorry for not understanding I am new to modding.

But why did you download a newer forge?
