Modpack download doesn't begin then act like downloaded

Hello when I click the download button at any modpack tab the download bar appear, but stays at 0 percent for like quarter second then it dissapears like the download is done, leaving me with two options - either download or uninstall and yet none of them functioned.

Pleaseee, help, I have very thin knowledge of this and just trying to play with friends. The modpack that I am trying to download is crafting dead from fortexxgaming. First I had troubles with java - java environment not found, then I fixed it. Then this. Thanks for any suggestions and solutions.
