sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, I'm new to the forums here on technic. so I'm using linux mint, and whenever I try to launch a modpack a warning shows up that says "you've chosen java version 11.0.8, that is known to have problems with minecraft. are you sure you want to continue?" the options are yes and no, and whenever I press yes, it closes technic as if it were launching the modpack and then re-opens and doesn't do anything. I've tried updating java, I installed java 15, 8, and tried to install java 7, but Java 7 didn't install in the terminal. when I checked the java settings, it was the same to versions that were there before, and neither of them work. I went through my files in an attempt to add another version of java, but I couldn't find the versions I installed. I'm just not sure what to do, I've tried everything that I could think of. what should I do?

Same issue, different java version, same fix.

That's the mac solution though. I can't use those commands in my terminal, I'm using linux and I'm not quite sure how to convert the commands.
