Java Launcher Failing

I've been trying to install pixelmon generations to play with friends the past couple of days, but whenever I open the modpack my launcher crashes. I believe its a java launcher problem, but I have no clue how to solve the problem. This is my crash report: https://pastebin.com/J3jhGfw1

Yeah, you can't use java8u261+ on most macs. Downgrade to 8u251: https://javadl.oracle.com/webapps/download/GetFile/1.8.0_251-b08/3d5a2bb8f8d4428bbe94aed7ec7ae784/unix-i586/jdk-8u251-macosx-x64.dmg
